The Curiosity Cycle Club (CCC) program offers elementary school children the opportunity to belong to a select group, to learn and to have fun doing. They learn to:

  • ask questions to discover and develop their interests and skills,
  • recognize how they personally learn,
  • become aware of needs in the world through observation, and apply their learning to offer solutions.

Members share their learning through stories, media creation, Scratch programming, and entrepreneurship in a yearly Curiosity EXPO! We believe that each child’s individuality and curiosity are their keys to sharing value with the world. We sponsor their curiosity to nurture their joy of learning!

The Curiosity Cycle Club values:

  • personal interaction between members and facilitators, so our membership to facilitator ratio is low. (6-10 members : 1 facilitator)
  • individuals and the group, so we foster respect for diverse thinking in both

The program is bilingual, with no previous knowledge or experience in the second language required.
We welcome all children excited to dig deeper into their native language and learn a second language, too! This year, we will explore Japanese and English.

  • Think Globally

Understand that what you do can have an impact on the world
  • Develop Myself

Recognize your strengths and weaknesses and work on acquiring the skills you need
  • Skills and Tools
What tools do I want to pick up for my life journey ? English? Digital literacy?
Prepare and refine the abilities, processes and resources necessary to achieve your goals

Facilitators both share information and facilitate members’ discovery and recognition of learning!

By exploring their interests, members begin to master metacognition and experience the joy of expanding and applying their knowledge, skills and tools to the world.
